Quarter Turn Design

KENT Systems products utilize a simple quarter turn design, making it the easiest to use quick coupling on the market. Our Quick Couplings are extremely easy to use. To connect, the user inserts the male quick coupling into the female and turns clockwise a quarter turn. Disconnecting is just as easy as coupling them. The user simply reverses the process and turns the male quick coupling counterclockwise one quarter turn. 

Through testing, we found our quarter turn design is more intuitive to users than a push button or collar design. We found when users approach quick couplings they aren't familiar with, most people instinctively twist the coupling in attempt to disconnect them. We used these findings and incorporated them into our quick coupling design.
